CloudTV H5 Media Farm
The CloudTV™ H5 Media Farm provides services for ingesting, transcoding and storage of media content. It comprises of three components that transform media content: the CloudTV Funnel, CloudTV Transcoder and the CloudTV Scaler. All of these components transform media content into the CloudTV H5 media format suitable for the CloudTV H5 StitcherFive component.
CloudTV Funnel
- A lightweight content management system used to ingest, transcode and store media content into CloudTV H5 media format. Supports a large variety of media (eg. MPEG2, H.264, FLV ) and metadata (eg. RSS, CableLabs ADI, XML and text) formats.
CloudTV Transcoder
- A real-time on-demand transcoder which can be used to ingest, transcode and stream any media content from any IP source into CloudTV H5 media format.
CloudTV Scaler
- A multicast driven on-demand and real-time transcoder used to ingest, transcode and stream linear video sources into CloudTV H5 media format . The CloudTV Scaler is primarily used for generation of scaled video tiles from any live video or linear TV sources for any TV application such as broadcast and personalized mosaics or VOD navigation.
